Another WSOP Winner
Posted on June 9th, 2009 No commentsKen Aldridge, former high school teacher, became Event 9 WSOP winner. Aldridge, 57, is a recreational player from Pleasant Garden, North Carolina and has only cashed in two major poker tournaments. This event was his first WSOP cash. He said he’s only played shorthanded when players are eliminated, but still believed he played nearly perfect poker.
“I really don’t think I made many mistakes,” Aldridge said to the WSOP. “I was very happy with how things went. I think I was behind only one time the whole tournament when I was all-in”
Ken won $428,259 in the event.
